Telehealth therapy via ZOOM videoconferencing
It is important that our sessions are as secure as possible. The safety of sensitive client information is extremely important to me. As such, all videoconferencing sessions take place on Zoom, a HIPAA compliant platform. Facetime and Skype do not make the cut.
HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) is a federal law that was passed in 1996, laying out the standards for the safety of client information. The law covers a wide range of safety protocols, with its most well known being client confidentiality. I am fully committed to upholding the standards and practices of HIPPA.
Zoom is easy to use. If you have never used zoom, I invite you not to fret. Technically, it is as simple as clinking a link that I send you in an email.
